I'm going to get this amp, and im just wondering if you can give me any advice( or answer my question) on 2 things:

* How to take care of the tubes in my amp, and not destroy them
* the USB soundcard built into the amp. I know its not great, but it'll be great for what i'm using it for. so How do i use that? I know i just plug it into my computer, but like, will audacity work to run the program?

Thanks so much guys!

- Don't drop kick your amp?
- Plug a USB cord into the amp and plug the other end into your computer.

1.

Make sure your tubes are seated (pushed in) all the way in.
Don't disconnect the speaker while the amp is on.
Turn the power on first and let it warm up for 30-60 seconds before switching Standby on.
If you ever see a power tube that is very bright, turn off the amp immediately and seek help.
If you ever transport the amp long distances or over bumpy surfaces, consider removing the tubes and wrapping them up in something for the journey.

2.
Audacity doesn't care what's on the other end of the USB cable but I do believe these amps ship with some software.
Check out the Only Vypyr thread for more info, or ask the users there about the latest firmware and what they do for recording.

Good luck, and have fun. I expect a NAD thread.
