Could I use a regular tuner to do so? How would I do it? Or should I just leave it up to the pros?

Intonation is pretty simple (but annoying to do) process. There's no way you could realistically **** up your guitar permanantly by doing this or anything. There are some stickies around the site somewhere, look it up.

Yeah. its actually really easy unless you have a floyd. google it. there are lots of sites that tell you how to intonate your guitar.

depends on the bridge
most are build for very easy intonation
you're screwing yourself if you actually pay someone to do it for you (unless it's an acoustic guitar)
