I recently dumped all my Line 6 gear. Traded my Line 6 HD147 for a Deville 4x10. Picked up a Fulltone OCD, Ibanez TS9DX, Korg Tuner and a BBE Sonic Maxmixer.

Thoughts?

The HD147 is a high end head and is much better than any of the lower series, its all vetta models.

It took about two weeks of going to CL ads and sending emails to find a trade that would work. But yep! Its awesome. Bought the TS9DX for 50, BBE for 60, and the Fulltone I paid 120.

It sounds AWESOME IMO. I have a master volume box (simple pot connected to two 1/4 inch jacks) in the effects loops which does help keep the volume down while pushing the tubes a bit more.

it was a hd147, they retail for like 1,000. Nice change up though, you will get some awesome tones out of it.

You have no experience with racks??? What kind of guy are you?

Great set up, very versatile. Ditch the TS7 now. How does the OCD and TS9 do at making a Marshall out of a Fender?

HNGD! That's quite the switch you made, did you do it for greater tweakability or better sound or what?

Very nice rig, but... OCD>TS9>TS7?!?!? I never even THOUGHT about that many ODs, and I do like the br00talz! are you thinking about letting one of these go? ok, it's none of my business... ^_^ happy new gear day!

Interesting change...

Were you not playing high gain stuff with your HD147?

I've had tube amps for a while now, but never actually had any go down on me
