I dont know if this should go here, so if someone could point the way thatd be sweet.

So i have these really old speakers that at high volumes becomes really crunchy and inaudible. They're like 10 years old but still pretty good. I want a new set of ipod speakers that can blast heavy metal pretty well at high volumes. Budgets 2-300, but if theres anything immediatly above or below that ill take those suggestions.

Thanks!

I have good headphones bro haha. Its for theatre when we warm up for shows. We have really shitty speakers and we blast metal and it sounds horrible. We need better ipod speakers that play loud cause we're like a 80 person cast/ crew

Harmon/Kardon make a MEAN speaker (I have one). When I blast Metallica, the whole house shakes.

and then there's free jazz, which isn't even for musicians.

As my old guitar teacher once said: Metal really comes from classical music. The only difference is pinch harmonics, double bass, and lyrics about killing goats.

Don't know if they get loud nuff for you though.

When all else fails, score a 2nd hand cube or something and blast it through that
