I'd be so pissed if the pick gnomes stole that one. Or if I accidentally threw it into the crowd after a gig. Not just for the financial loss, but it also has a possibility of taking out a fan.

I thought this would be about Red Bears.

Which are apparently the best, but they're like $20 each for a bit of plastic..

I have two red bears. They're imitation tortoise shell. Seriously, the tone I get out of my Martin acoustic guitar with it... Definitely worth 20,000 pennies.
Equipment:
- Art & Lutherie Cedar CW (SOLD! )
- Martin D-16RGT w/ LR Baggs M1 Active Soundhole Pickup
- Seagull 25th Anniversary Flame Maple w/ LR Baggs Micro EQ

I don't know about electric guitars, but for my acoustic, the tone is just phenomenal. The sound is just so much richer. After getting the red bear, I haven't use any other pick. I used to use the Dunlop Ultex picks as well as the Dunlop Nylons. There's just no competition.
