This is my new pirate/viking song. Proud Vikings -

Its been a long day
Pillaged a church and ran away
Without battle I cannot bleed
Riding forwards on mighty steed

I know its within me
I can write sad poetry
But that stuffs not to my liking
Because I'm a proud viking

On this quest I cannot fail
I'm drinking a flagon of freshly brewed ale
On this quest I shall succeed
Just finished a tankard of freshly brewed mead

To survive this great quest
That is my duty
I've found a treasure chest
And its full of glorious booty

I know its within me
I can write sad poetry
But that stuffs not to my liking
Because I'm a proud viking
Raise your chalice my brother
Raise it high
To catch the fire that falls from the sky

Obviously, when you write songs about Vikings you aren't taking things too seriously.
And if you aren't expecting something serious, it's actually a really good text with great ideas and fun remarks. A great example of boyish fantasy! It's really
"Here I come. and I'm a Viking and I'm proud".

The only criticism that I have is that you use a different rhyming structure in

To survive this great quest
That is my duty
I've found a treasure chest
And its full of glorious booty

Otherwise keep up the good work.
