Ok, so at the current time, I have no guitar and no amp due to the fact that my guitar broke and the little 10 watt amp that came with it broke as well. This Christmas I am planning on getting a new guitar, then using Christmas money for a new amp. My mom gave me a budget of around $200-ish for a new guitar. I searched and searched and I found one that I kinda like.

What are your opinions on this guitar:

and on this amp?:

And if you guys wanted to make any suggestions, that would be appreciated as well. The main specs im looking for in a guitar are a Floyd Rose and decent pickups for metal/punk/hard rock.

Thanks in advance.

I reccomend a guitar from Rondo Music. Amazing quality for the price.
As far as amps go, that one looks decent. I reccomend trying a Peavey Vypyr and a Roland Cube too.

Ok, i'll look into them. Thanks

There's nothing with a Floyd worth getting for $200...a decent Floyd bridge costs that much alone.

A $200ish guitar with a decent FR trem and good pickups for heavier genres?

That's the only one the comes to my mind. It's a bit more expensive at $400 dollars, but it's the only one I can think of that has what you want with an FR bridge that's actually decent. That and a smaller modeling amp would be a decent set up,maybe a vyper or something like that.

Agreed, stay away from lower priced guitars with trems as they are almost always pretty bad.

Roland Cubes are probably the best practice amps you can buy for the money. I haven't played that Behringer but I can almost garuntee the Cube is better.

I've always liked Peavey guitars, I haven't got any experience with their new stuff, but their old guitars are always cool. I'd check out Laguna guitars, they're VERY comfortable and good for their price.

As for an amp, I'd suggest a Peavey Vypyr, Vox AD, or a Roland Cube.

NICE epiphone by the way, I love that.
