What is a reasonable price?

Hardwire TL-2
Barber Dirty Bomb

Are two pedals that come to mind for $100.

Pretty much everything except the MT2 would be a great choice in this thread. Though if you're playing Sveedish Death Metal the MT2 is a must, that trashy sound actually comes in useful. Though keep in mind you should be using it through a good tube amp for that.

Haven't got a tube amp, so no MT2
It's probably gonna be the Hardwire TL-2

Unless someone comes with a better idea

Boss OS-2 Overdrive Distortion creates a surprisingly awesome metal sound and its cheap. all u have to do is turn all the knobs all the way up and you're golden. if you've heard stockholm syndrome by muse, theres the part where its like DAAAA DA DAAA! and so i play on an amp distortion channel then just hit that pedal for the boost part and it sounds perfect. sounds good w/ bat country too.

Dirty Bomb is awesome. The Hardwire TL-2 is great, but the Dirty Bomb is the same kind of tone with a bit more low end. And given the Dirty Bomb could do with a little more low end on some settings you would need a fairly bassy guitar/amp for the TL-2 I'd say.

I can't seem to find any logic in this sentence

Oh, go for the Dirty Bomb, probably the best br00tal pedal for under $100

I was trying to say, that I won't buy the MT2
Yes, I know
I'm not very logical

You mean like the solid state Peavey Bandit used on the first ATG album?

Also, you don't want a piece of garbage MT-2, you want a HM-2.

Bandits are pretty good SS amps though.

it's so cool to hate Gibson, even the federal Department of Justice hates them.
