Im looking to buy a new amp but i dont know what kind to get.
I definitely want an all tube amp. I play blues metal reggae and classic rock.
Im looking for something with good cleans for a nice blues tone (e.g. clapton, john mayer, srv) but i also want it to have good distortion for metal. If this isnt possible i was thinking i can just get an amp with good cleans and buy a distortion or overdrive pedal.

I was thinking maybe a fender or a vox would be good for this.
Anyway im open to all suggestions, thanks in advance.

You'd need a distortion pedal for the Vox AC30. But its an overall brilliant amp.
Ibanez RGT42DX
Vox AC30C2
Digitech Whammy (FOR SALE!)
Dunlop GCB-95F Crybaby
Boss DD-20
Boss SD-1
Ibanez TS9DX

The AC30 has doesn't have distortion, but when cranked at high volumes you'll hear some overdrive. watch youtube videos

ill definitely try out the ac30 and the others everyone mentioned. Does anyone know how the blues jr is compared to the hot rod deluxe...the deluxe looks like a great amp but its out of my price range

The AC30 has a nice overdrive...but its probably not enough to get you what you're looking for. But its a great clean amp...and an OD pedal could help you in the grit department.
