I think I outgrew my 15w (playing for 2 years), I need a more powerful one that suits small to medium gigs. Money is an obstacle. I play hard rock, punk and a little metal.

I narrowed them down to these 2:

Gallien-Krueger Backline 110 Combo

well ones a 70w and ones a 100w, id go for the 100w because even though you couldn't use either for a gig, for smaller stuff like just jamming with a few friends 70 is not gonna come out over top alot of guitar amps

The GK is a okay practice amp but it's kind of weak for gigging. But do you know what's your guitarist amp's wattage.
Damn it! Disable can't use disable to disable Disable's disable because disable's disable has already been disabled by Disable's disable!

yea thats a big thing, make sure your like 20-30w higher than your guitarists

I'd go with the acoustic out of that selection, but you would have much better value for money if you looked second hand. Check out craigslist to see whats on offer

Can you afford a Ampeg BA115HP used since can fill a medium sized gigs since it's 220 Watts.

P.S. Your bass amp should be at least 2-3 times more wattage than the guitarist's amp.

I have heard a lot of bad things about low end GK amps, regarding their reliability. I think someone else might have vouched fro them recently, but i cant remember.

This would be a good deal if you could bump up your budget a little and haggle with the guy and dont take the case Gallien-Krueger 700rb stack

Acoustic B200

Either of those would be ok, but the GK would be better, simply from the volume advantage. I also cam across this Hartke HA2500 you could run this through one of the cabs down below, and then upgrade the head at a later stage.

The biggest problem here is budget. Try saving a litte bit more, or if you are really stuck, go for the acoustic. (BTW i selected all of south florida in the search, assuming that you can drive/can get someone to drive you.)
