What are some movies that you have to watch like 4 times to get the premise of what's going on? I'm looking for one to watch on my Thanksgiving break this week. (good twist endings are ok too)

Good ones-
Cemetery Man
Mulholland Dr, Lost Highway or anything by David Lynch
Se7en (not really hard to understand, just really good twist at the end)
Pi

What are some more suggestions?

Also Bridget Jones' Diary does not count.

The Men Who Stare At Goats. This film went right over my head. Or maybe under. Not sure.
If 4 more people tell me to go back to writing The Vanishing Point, I will.

I've got all the Kubrick films streamed on Netflix so I'll definitely check those out.

Also to anyone who hasn't seen the movie "Brick", you should definitely check that out it has Joseph Gordon-Levitt from "3rd. Rock From the Sun" in it. Amazing movie

Watch Robag's videos about all of Kubrick's films. His Pulp Fiction one is also really good.

They are indeed. I always caught on to the pulp fiction ones before, but he did add some more good points.

The ending to that film was a mindfuck. After the whole 2 hours of adventure, we get:

"Don't touch it mommy, it's evil!"

*poof!*

Bubba Ho-Tep

It is about an aged Elvis who lives in a retirement home and a black JFK who fight a mummy. I know it sounds ridiculous and stupid, but trust me, it is a really well made movie. It is funny, sad, scary. It is not some B-movie. It is much deeper than that.

No! It is a great film. Don't even watch the trailer because the trailer does the movie no justice. It makes the movie seem like some dumb stuff.

There was a movie that I think possibly Clive Barker made inspired by H.P. Lovecraft. I saw it a long time ago but I forgot what it was called. Something about Madness.

EDIT- It was John Carpenter and it was called "In the Mouth of Madness"

Gummo was pretty neat, it had burzum and bathory and madonna played in it lol.

Begotten was all around fucked but I found myself bored and wanting to fast forward through a lot of it. And for the most part I didn't know what was going on, because of the lighting and the hard to follow "plot." Afterwards I read a plot synopsis though.

For some reason Natural born killers is a weird movie to me..

Begotten is really cool if you listen to some music on top of the film.
