For ADADGBE check out the band Stam1na. They use that tuning, and some of their riffs are pretty awesome. Check them out on youtube if you like.

    trivium's album Shogun
I think all of the songs are on 7 strings

I learned most of the songs, and tbh im a bit disappointed with the riffs. It's one of my all time favorites albums and its killer. But riffing is just not the highlight in it... but vocals and leads are monstrous! **** to play on it should be Shogun, Of Prometheus And The Crucifix and The Calamity.

+1 to shogun, although i agree with the dude about the riffs but for solos you can't get a lot better 7 string wise apart from Dream Theater. maybe Korn for some 7 string riffing, the old stuff cos its better IMO. Recently i've been playing a lot of Arch Enemy which is in C standard, (older stuff in B i think tho) its seriously good **** especially stuff off Doomsday Machine

Korn ftw. I just sold my seven string, but that's why I originally bought it, 'cause I was into Korn.

A while ago I learned to play The Earth Will Shake by Thrice, which I think was in drop A tuning, but I'm pretty sure it was just drop tuned and not on a 7.

Regardless, it's a fun song to play
