Maxon Tube Screamer,

Boss Blues Driver,

or Big Muff Pi for the Alex Lifeson signature Rush guitar sound?

Thoughts, anyone?

Thanks.

look into hughes and kettner overdrives, that is what lifeson uses for his amps and the overdrives and amp tones are spot on.

None of those would really give you an Alex Lifeson tone, IMO. I'd say something like a Modded DS1 (i highly recommend analogman).

I like the sound I get out of my Voodoo Labs Sparkle Drive. Essentially a TS808.

...It says in your sig you already have a Big Muff Pi.
