You left me around this time of year i guess,
You said you were going out for the weekend,
12 months on and im still sitting in that chair,
Waiting for you now, like i was waiting for you then,

I've started playing those games, again,
And talking to old friends you made me forget,
The ones you said did drugs and thought only with there dicks,
Well that might be true, but their much more fun than you,

Chorus
And I Could write a song,
About All the things that I, Remember about you,

But that won't be as fun,
As what im about to do,
I don't, I don't, I don't miss you.

There were times i considered making you my wife,
But then i would've been stuck with you for life,
I guess I should be thanking you for leaving me,
Cause in all honesty you set me free,

The way you laugh, the way you breath, the way you walk,
The way you always look down, when you walk,
The way you run your fingers, Slowly through your hair,
You've been gone so long now, and i don't even care

Chorus
And I Could write a song,
About All the things that I, Remember about you,

But that won't be as fun,
As what im about to do,
I don't, I don't, I don't miss you.

Who the hell* am I kidding, of course I miss you,
Everytime I've said I don't, I've been lying to you,
But theres no way I can tell you the truth,
Cause if I do, then I have to tell me too.

But I am an idiot for sitting in that chair,
And thinking you'll come back if i just wait there,
But in my drunken states, I didnt know any better,
Than to sit around, wait, and hope that i'll forget you**

* Not really hell - substitue it with a more colourful language
** Prenounced ya when sung

Cheers

Possible chorus at the end:

And I could write a song,
About all the things that I, hated about you,

But that won't be as true,
As what i'm about to do,
I do, I do, I do, I do, I do, I do, I do miss you!

For some reason I can hear Steven Tyler from aerosmith sing the line "I dont, I don't, I dont miss you" in my head. It's a wonderful line. The lyrics from this song deliver a very realistic story. It seems to me like women sometimes do cause you to forget old friends. The story of this song seems to have been done before, but the way you wrote the lyrics make it unique. The chorus is very nice . I would really like to hear a recording sometime. Only one error: you often used "there" instead of "their" or "they're" in the lyrics. No big deal when you sing it, but it drives me crazy to read it. ANyway, nice job!
