I am looking to upgrade the pickups in my epi les paul. I am putting a Dimarzio super distortion in the bridge but cant decide between a Duncan Pearly gates or a Dimarzio Dual sound for the neck. I play riff rock like clutch, down, sabbath etc. What would you suggest for neck pus? Thanks for the suggestions.

oh and if u want good cleans from the bridge pickup, the super distortion is not for you. it only sounds good wiith distortion.

you could always rely on the neck pickup for cleans. In fact, I think you'll have to. That should be one criterion in your selection.

The cleans on a super distortion are quite fine. Its a good all around pup.

for the neck pup I would put in a Dimarzio PAF Joe

Regular. F-spaced means that its size fits a guitar with a Floyd Rose, on which the strings are not as close together as they are on a guitar without the Floyd.
