^ this, plus if you add reverb to your guitar it can mask mistakes. I think it's the same for your voice

It's insane. As soon as I shut the curtain, I have a whole different voice. An immense voice. A commanding voice. I feel like I sing so powerfully, and I made the lion jump out of a window.

Oh wait, that's Wizard Of Oz. Nah, I sing the same way in the shower and in my room. Outside of those two places, I sound worse.
