So, Today i was playing guitar for a hour or two and i was practicing some new scales and monkeying around with some solos and what not and about half way through my wrist starts to ache a little bit, but i didnt pay no mind to it. that was about 5 hours ago and the ache as progressively gotten worse with little spikes of ..pain i guess you could say every now and then. i read that you can get Carpel Tunnel from playing guitar as well, so im thinking thats what it is but i dont think that it can spring up just like that *finger snap* so maybe this is the beginning

So my question to the wise and faithful Pit...

Has anyone else experienced this? or know anything to make it go away or prevent it?
Drink more miak.

I'm gonna guess and say that Carpal Tunnel causes hand/finger numbness, and wrist pain is normal.
Wait for a second opinion

Oooh noo, I sometimes get numb fingers the next day if I play for a ages
Symptoms usually start gradually, with frequent burning, tingling, or itching numbness in the palm of the hand and the fingers, especially the thumb and the index and middle fingers. Some carpal tunnel sufferers say their fingers feel useless and swollen, even though little or no swelling is apparent. The symptoms often first appear in one or both hands during the night, since many people sleep with flexed wrists. A person with carpal tunnel syndrome may wake up feeling the need to "shake out" the hand or wrist. As symptoms worsen, people might feel tingling during the day. Decreased grip strength may make it difficult to form a fist, grasp small objects, or perform other manual tasks. In chronic and/or untreated cases, the muscles at the base of the thumb may waste away. Some people are unable to tell between hot and cold by touch.

1) I fap with my left hand.
2) Fapping with your left hand is awesome, you can scroll through porn AND fap at the same time. I know.
3) Tendinitis maybe?

So, basically, if you do have it, you'll soon find it impossible to play guitar...

I guess its possible but it only seems to act up if you do something for a long period of time
