A woman's perspective is great, you get to stare down at least one top without anyone caring.

Yeah. So not your first thread, but since you have deleted all of the evidence, I'll let this one stay. The thread is on the subject as all of the others...buying a 12-string. You could have kept all of the information in one thread.

Gear:
Partscaster/Tele into a bunch of pedals, a Maz 18 head, and a Z Best cab.

Go with the Eipi, people may call them crap guitars but its alot better than the JB in my opinion. But neither is going to be a very good guitar. If you want a good 12 string your going to have to get into the $500-600 price range, and thats just for begining intermedite guitars.

Aslo roamingbard happens to be a mod, here's a free tip, NEVER piss off a mod by being a smart ass.

in this price range, no matter what you get it's not going to be a very good 12 string. the jb players i've seen are complete pieces of crap (my husband says they sound like they're made of laminated toilet paper) so might as well go with the epi. i'd rate the jb no higher than 4 (probably more like a 3) and the epi at maybe a 5.

if it were me, what i'd do is save up more money and get something that didn't suck - possibly used or a second. you could get something entry level but with a solid top if you went for 3 payments from www.americanmusical.com
