When i get some extra $$$ i want to buy a farely cheap amp that can be able to get tones that sound like bands like metallica, megadeth, judas preist, and other bands like that

Not any low-end Marshall. If you see the letters "MG" together, run away!!!

The cheapest Marshall to even consider would be the Haze combo 40 watt. But the 15 watt in a double stack would be better.

Forget about MGs or AVTs. Unless you have a couple of grand to blow, Marshall is generally a big disappointment.

Trust me (and 98% of UGers) on this. My first amp was an MG 30DFX. It sounds muddy as hell no matter what guitar I play through it or how I set the EQ. I regret that purchase daily, 'cause at the time I coulda got a Vox VT30 for the same price... Oh well.
