Although that isn't true, it's still not that important. All mics are different, but the specific one that some guitarist you like used live once is not going to make a difference in your live sound.

I did mean it very loosely XD


I use £20 mics at my gigs and when I perform, I can hardly tell the difference between it and my friend's SM57 after 30 seconds EQ on the sound desk.
