I would like to hook up my guitar and a mic to my Spider 3. Is this possible with the use of converters and such?

Thanks

No. Your Spider would need two inputs, for one thing, and for another, it would need to have two seperate modeling channels for each so you don't have your voice set to "Insane".

You can hook a mic up to it, but you can't hook up a guitar and mic to it at the same time.

Greg what did you send me??

Well, maybe with a Y splitter, but don't expect it to:

A) Sound particularly good
B) Work when you're using distortion
C) Sound good
D) Be louder than the guitar. You'll probably have the most trouble here.

you could get "audio" to come from both sources if you used a Y splitter, but "audio" is not necessarily music... it'll sound like jumbled ****.

mics never sound good through guitar amps, the signals are different. buy a PA system or a kareoke system if you're not gonna be doing much... they normally are cheaper and will get you by
My Guitars:
Gibson Les Paul Studio
Epiphone AJ
Ibanez Strat Copy

Amps:
Orange Tiny Terror Head
Old beaten up Peavey cab
Marshall MG30DFX

mic -> XLR to 1/4" converter -> y splitter -> amp
guitar -> y splitter -> amp

Agreed. It's going to sound pretty bad.

I'm very curious how terrible a voice sounds out of the "insane" channel
