I'm thinking about ordering a new phone..
either a Samsung Omnia, or a Motorola Q9M
My question is, whenever I get the phone, if I call *228 to activate it,
will I still have to pay the 30 dollar a month data plan like I would if I went to the store..

Literally stupid question. If you call if in you wont have to pay the $20 activation fee...
More importantly, why would you think you wouldn't have to pay for data service just because you ordered it online?
