i was doing some reading, and ive heard some good things about the bias mod for the 6505 plus, can someone run me through whats involved, and ill take it to a tech to get it done, so can someone please tell what to ask the tech to do/put in and all that stuff please, thanks

Tell them to install a bias pot. It's all of two parts, any tech will know what you're talking about, it's not like ordering at subway where you have to tell them what ingredients you want

All that happens is that they remove a resistor and replace it with a different resistor and a trimpot in parallel. It's dead simple, takes longer to warm up the soldering iron than it does to actually do the mod.

Yeah and they'll probably charge you $50+ to install parts that cost like $2.
