Hi all, I am planning on taking my Grade 6 in a couple of months, and I have to play two songs from the book and a third can be a different song that I can choose. I can name some songs I can already play, could you guys let me know which may be appropriate and/or at a high enough difficulty? I am looking for a song that will get me the highest potential mark, so there's no point me playing Smells Like Teen Spirit or anything ridiculously easy. So if anyone has done their Grade 6, could you let me know if any of those are around the required skill level? Feel free to suggest other songs as well. Thanks!

All these songs are including the solos.

2 Minutes to Midnight by Iron Maiden
Beautiful Mourning by Machine Head
Ceremony by Joe Satriani (Improvising during the really fiddly bits in the solos)
Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd
Enter Sandman by Metallica
Fade to Black by Metallica
Hallowed Be Thy Name by Iron Maiden
Holier Than Thou by Metallica
Now I Lay Thee Down by Machine Head
Master of Puppets by Metallica
Orion by Metallica
The Crying Machine by Steve Vai (Improvising during the really fiddly bits in the solos)

Comfortably Numb, the solo still gives me shivers

EDIT: i like your music choice... thought it needed to be said
Gotta keep my eyes from the circling skies...
tounge tied and twisted just an earth bound misfit...

ermmm fade to black is really easy, both rythm and lead parts.
and although the solo's easy, it is fun to play.
id say go with that and the satriani
Lulstack is pending.
