ive been looking at this amp for a long time

can i get a more bassy hi gain distortion from it?
(think parkway drive or Kse)
until i have an idea NO SIG!

It has active EQ, so I guess you can get more bassy tones.

However, you shouldn't get it if it doesn't give you the tone you want.

the XXX is a pretty versatile amp...it should get you the tones you're looking for without problems. I run an EQ pedal in the loop too....so its got even more options.

I bought a bugera 333. Pretty much same thing.

I love mine, its actually much more versatile. I honestly don't know why people play the 6505 rather than this beast.

Yea man, i play heavy heavy riffs with my bud who is a drummer and we get the brootz going. I have my gain at 12 o clock and hit it with a tube screamer boost with eq pedal and omg thats my tone.....

also i like that dampening switch on the rear. I wanna try el34's soon.

Thats a very nice tone^.

I have el34s in mine now. I like them, but i never tried any after market 6l6. Be prepared I hate to switch a resistor to 1k because it kept blowing with el34.
