*DISCLAIMER* I know this is GG&A not GB&C but with that in mind I figured since most of the pedalboard whoores hang out in here, this would be a better place to put it. Mods I hope you don't mind.

Lets start with the plan

Two shelf GORM style board built in two halves

Trip to Menards yielded 5 1x4x8 pieces of pine for $2.25 a board

Yay for velcro!!

feet

clips to hold the two halves together

and lights.

Since my brother had the table saw I had to bring in my boards to the school woodshop to start working so I don't have pics of the beginning stages.

Boards all cut

Mockups, as you can see there was some mismeasurements, oh well, thats why I try to keep everything oversized .

frame all put together

upper shelf was lifting up, nothing a few nails couldn't fix

progress shot

First half of the board finished, the second half of the board is going to be a tad trickier as the upper shelf does not span the entire width of the board to allow for a wah pedal to fit nicely.

I may, not sure yet. I may just put it in a keyboard case, but I could easily build a case for it.

Very nice build. i'm sure you could get heaps of pedals on that and keep it clean. Unfortunately I think this is the wrong section.
Gear: Warmoth Soloist / Hondo Acou. / Ibanez AS73

Hardwire TL-2 / Boss GE-7 / Electro Harmonix Small Stone Nano / Boss DD-3 / MXR Smart Gate / Ibanez TS9 / Unknown Tremolo

I like the Christmas lights

Looking forward to seeing the rest of the progress on this! All of these GORM-style boards are inspiring me to do one as well once I start getting pedals.

Thanks for the kind words guys, I may be able to finish the other half tonight but we'll see, right now the Vikes game is taking precedence.

I need to put the latches and feet on, and I need another daisy chain cable in order to power all of my pedals. Not quite sure on the layout of the pedals yet but I can figure that out later.

It's an IKEA shelf unit which is a cheap easy way to get lengths of treated wood ready to go.

You should paint that shit Day-Glo pink.

On a related note, that is a really clean looking board.
