^^ caught my eye in a heartbeat. I hear they are damn good amps for what they are.

Right now I am looking at a Blackstar HT-5 w/ BH112 cab, but this could save me a TON of money. I need good tone for bedroom/apartment use mainly. I play anything from Weezer to Van Halen to SRV. Using FX pedals is a must.

I've never heard of that amp before...but it wouldn't hurt to go try it out...especially if you stand to save some money on it.

Solidstate Marshall... sounds like a step down to me man from where you're looking. how much do you stand to save?
