Hello! I want to learn music theory to help my guitar playing get a little more creative instead of getting lost everytime I try to climb out of my box!

Is there a near perfect guide to music theory (applied to guitar) out there, set in a straight line, so I finish 1 page, and go onto the next, not to another section then back again. Just a start -> finish (I know there will never be a finish) comprehensive guitar theory guide?

Thanks!

justinguitar.com, but I would definitely look for a teacher if I were you. They are very helpful.

if you want a actual book

the dummies guide to music theory will get you started, it only covers the major and minor aspects though....

This, if you're just starting with theory, check that book out.

Also, start looking at Jazz Theory books. Chord Theory, etc.

Take a theory class.
I am the only sane person on the planet. Does that make me crazy?
