Hi guys my guitar is kind of crappy and I need a new one, only problem is I'm not going to have the money for the one I want any time soon (because I need to learn to drive and various other things first.)

The crappyness of my guitar is actually getting to me so much its stopping me wanting to play it at all, therefore I’m not progressing.

I know what guitar I want as I spent about a year hunting and playing different guitars before I found one I knew was right for me, eventually I rested on a Tokai Les Paul (LS85) If anyones interested.

So basically I need to know whether or not It would be a good idea to replace the bridge pickup on my current guitar to improve the sound quality, until I can afford my new one?

Guitar is a BC Rich Mockingbird Bronze Series, It wasn't that bad when started out but now I've really started to notice the bad sound quality.

tl;dr New pickup on my Bronze series mockingbird or save for a new guitar?

Also if anyone could recommend me a pickup that would be very helpful
, I play mostly stuff like Guns, Alice Cooper, Stones, ACDC, Aerosmith, Led Zep, Def Lep,
and some heavier 80s stuff like Motley, Ratt, VH.
