Undecided. From what I've heard about it its concept sounds kinda lame. But it looks like it works well for say band updates and such.

Dunno why regular Joes would ever feel the need to have an account.

I have one but I never post. I just follow people like Rob Zombie, Slash, Scott Ian, Metal Blade Records, The Onion and some bands I like that are on twitter.

I now know that Scott Ian plays A LOT of poker, and Slash's self titled record was recorded completely analog.
Warning: The above post may contain lethal levels of radiation, sharp objects and sexiness.
Proceed with extreme caution!

I'm not really interested in Twitter. The only reason I have an account is because my Interactive Advertising professor required us to sign up when we were studying social media.

When it first came out, Vodafone NZ used to charge nothing for using it. So we used Twitter to text others for free. We're cheap teens. But hey, free texting!

But then Vodafone started charging for the use of Twitter. So nay.

I would'nt touch it with a 10 foot pole, between my aunt sending me more crap for Farmville on Facebook than I can use, to an ex admiree coming back every so often to stir things up on Myspace, having people able to see what I'm doing has 2 problems....

A.) Tactical advantage, some moron is going to use this to stir up drama or whatever.

B.) Not like I hav emuch to post every day anyway that's interesting. I mean, really, if I were to have a post enough, it'd include tweeting twinkles and texting up musical arrangements that I'd rather release when I have a cohesive package

Ehh....there's a couple local coffee shops that post daily specials on there, so that's kinda cool since you can have it sent to your phone. Other than that though.....

It has its applications. It's cool for fans to get a little more of an inside peek of their favorite bands.

I vote yay, but whatever.

I think it could be used well but the majority of people use it to inform everyone of the most tedious ****ing things.

Twitter is the single most annoying thing among all those trendy social networking websites. Every time I read the sentence "someone twittered this", I just feel like snapping a neck.

Facebook is annoying too, but at least it's useful. It has plenty of annoying features but it does help keeping in touch with your friends and family. Twitter is all about being an attention bitch and telling the world how futile your life is.

When I'd only tried it via the web, waste of space. When you can use it on your phone it makes WAY more sense.

I now use it and like it.

Had one, deleted it, got it back because I didn't want anyone else to have my old username, then got slightly hooked.

I follow a few celebrities, but only people like Nathan Fillion and the rest of the Firefly crew, I mostly have musicians, comedians and design studios. So long as you follow interesting people, it's an entertaining distraction.
