**** yeah, this must be done. I know a LOT of Death, and I love every album, so there's nothing I wouldn't know at least a little bit of.

Song ideas, anyone?

Lack of Comprehension, for sure. Human's probably my favorite Death album.

I'd want to do some stuff from Spiritual Healing, too.

I can perform vocals, bass, and rhythm guitar for any song.

My ten picks:

1. Empty Words
2. In Human Form
3. Vacant Planets
4. Born Dead
5. Spirit Crusher
6. Symbolic
7. Baptized In Blood
8. Together As One
9. Individual Thought Patterns
10. Lack Of Comprehension

Their cover of Painkiller would be pretty sick too.

Can't understand why Voice of the Soul hasn't even been mentioned yet? What a disappointment.

I think these threads are just an excuse to play your favourite songs by said band. No one puts their thought into the song that would mean most to the artist.

Shame on you peeps, shame on you.

Scavenger of Human Sorrow, The Philosopher, Trapped in a Corner, Misanthrope, Crystal Mountain, Lack of Comprehension, Vacant Planets, Spiritual Healing, Altering The Future, Leprosy.
All that stuff.
And opening with Chopins funeral march is a great idea.

I can play rhythm for The Philosopher and Crystal Mountain. I'm also working on Bite the Pain (Chuck's best song, imo), and on Voice of the Soul.

If this is gonna be an online collab, I can/will do guitars/vocals for whatever. Got the very same amp Chuck played (Marshall VS100R).

PS. 1000 Eyes.

if you've been here since 06, i'd assume you've been playing guitar that long, you should be able to nail the crystal mountain leads, i've only been playing for two and I can.

I've been playing since 04, and I certainly can nail most of Chuck's leads (by that, I mean most Death songs do not have solos that are too hard for me to play). I just don't have the time to relearn them at the moment (finals are coming up next week).

All Chuck does anyway is tap really.

...this one is the gem
"scavenger of human sorrow" he recorded for a school project (broken into two parts, listen at the bottom of the myspace playlist)
