I AM A BASSIST and I Begin a new black metal group. I need to compose, so I thought about buying a guitar.I hesitate between two model jackson warrior JS30WR and the WRXT and a acoustic guitar.
this is the questions... With floyd or not? and it to create black metal songs.. so Basic quality or not or a acoustic guitar will be alright?
thanks!

Electric guitar. It will be more significant than the acoustic will be if you are only doing Black Metal.

Heh, black metal takes some serious balls.

First, screw the accoustic. That will never help.

Next, are you going to be using it (gigging, recording, practis) or just writing with it?

yes all that... and record i hope... someday...
for the soud it not a shitty sound or a pro but just a normal guitar soud but with kick ass look

Anything with a hardtail and a humbucker in the bridge.

I use my ORM for black metal.
No gods, no countries, no masters.
More guitar, less Ultimate-Guitar.

WRXT all the way man. Jackson X series blows the JS series out of the water. Even if you don't like the floyd, block the trem.

go with an esp
If I stay too quiet
I can hear her walking by
Death cold air is moving
Like the touch of her hand

ikuisesti hallussa surua,
pienentynyt enkeli, ottaa minuun,
johtaa minut tämän arvokkaan valoa,
ja ikuiseen pimeyteen.

Ibanez ORM-1. The Omar Rodriguez Lopez sig. The guy from At The Drive-In, and some other band after that... I can't remember the name, but they're boring anyways.

It's got a 24" scale and a really slim and comfy neck, like if an SG neck was slimmer then a Wizard II, a string through TOM bridge and a single coil sized HB in the bridge. Mahogany neck and body. The short scale won't impact string tension because black metal isn't tuned down below Eb or D usually. It's not pointy, but pointy guitars are lame.

It covers most of what I play, crust punk, black metal, sludge, grindcore/PV, emo, thrash, the odd thrash metal and death metal song and Propagandhi and I-Spy covers.

You can tell it's grim because it's got a Burzum tshirt holding up the headstock.

Great list Rutch. On re-reading this one I'd have to say Solid State means not liquid or gas.

I figured it out.
