Okay, so I just replaced the pickups in my RG. They were Bill Lawrence L-500R/L-500XL. The first pickup swap went perfectly. I swapped in AN/AZ and they sound great except the interference. They pick up far more like computer monitor noise than the rest of my guitars, even the cheap ones with stock pickups. They all get the same noise through the same amp, the RG is just way louder. All the connections look (didnt actually test) good. It would also appear that the grounds are working since touching my finger to the back of the star ground and my other finger to the output jacks ground lug does nothing, as if the connection is already being made. Rolling off the volume does get rid of it though. Is it possible the pot itself is messed up?
