BASK IN THE AWESOMENESS OF POWER RANGERS!!

F*ck Power Rangers (well not really, but...)
Your avatar is where it's at. Neon Ballroom <3 My favorite cd growing up

Ok back to power rangers, the first season was fantastic! The movie... Meh I wasn't a fan of it.

Tommy as the green ranger was my favorite.

Anyone notice that in MMPR, Trini is asian, and the yellow ranger?
And Zach, the black guy who was the black ranger, always sat in the back of the megazord?

I have Power Ranger window stickers on my car, and they're arranged in such a way that it makes them seem as if they're partaking in indecent sexual actions.
I've decided that my signature is terrible. I'm open to suggestions.

I do sometimes.
I've got VHS tapes with episodes my family taped when I was about four, they even have those awesome 90's commercials taped too. My younger brothers watch them every once in a while and I get super nostalgic.

No way! Those ads are the best!

It's on DVD now?

I always had a crush on Kimberly. I didn't have a crush on another Power Ramger until Lost Galaxy, which had Kendrix.

One Saturday a few years ago, I decided to watch it for shits and giggles, and they brought Tommy back! He was the main Rangers' mentor, and also the Black Ranger.

My favorite commercial is the Bill Cosby one that goes "Kids go ape for new jello grape!"
You may have all the episodes on DVD, but I have all the episodes and the original 90's commercials. I don't think anyone in the pit can beat that.

Yes, everyone noticed that; even the producers. When they introduced new Rangers, they made the Black Ranger Asian, and the Yellow Ranger black.

Does anyone know about Super Sentai, the source material for Power Rangers?

Tommy is apparently training to enter the UFC or some other MMA organization...

edit: turns out the original yellow ranger died in a car crash at the age of 27 in 2001. Do not know how this missed my scope of knowledge...

I checked it out. Seemed pretty crazy, but then again, I can't speak Japanese.

Like with anime, there are fansubs for it. I watched the first episode of the current series. It's like based around samurai and stuff. I'm surprised they hadn't already thought of doing samurai.

I thought it was Jason. Although Tommy's actor's name is Jason, so I might have been confused.

Hell yeah! I found the dvd for sale at a service station for $10. It came with the first two Ninja Turtles movies. Needless to say, I wept with joy.

I can get past the terrible special effects and corny dialogue. Its the f*cking Rangers, man!!!

Yeah, Tommy (acted by Jason Lee Scott) is honoring his dead brother's wishes to become an MMA fighter.

Jason (Austin St. John) actually had a stint in gay porn under the name Jason Cutler...

This is where I get to brag about having the original green ranger (yes, Tommy) come to my school while I was in kindergarten. It was on Halloween, and he had the full suit on. I dressed up as the white ranger that day. He walked right past me.

I seriously might have.

A DVwhatnow? The only way to watch Power Rangers is on a VHS for christ's sake. None of this new disc bullshit. Back in my day, we watched that shit on tape.

Don't even get me started on my Timon and Pumba collection on VHS, I literally lived on that stuff as a kid
