The wind has been the home I've known
While I'm down here on the road
And I need you,
Yes, I need you

I used to smile from streets the streets I'd hold
But now I know I've grown too old
When I need you
Yes, when I need you

I've been too far gone
For far too long
You've been working on me
All along in secret.

With my words I will be
So much more than you see
Follow me, to where my heart lies
But please don't say how time flies.

Many times, I sent you notes
Saying where I am on this road
And how I want you,
Darling, I want you.

When we're all apart at the end of the day
It's times like these that I most want to say
That I want you,
Darling, I want you.

I've been too far gone
For far too long
You've been working on me
All along in secret.

With my words, I'd tried
To say how I'd fly
When you used to come my way

I don't know if it's died
Or if I just lied
Because now, I don't know what to say.

i clicked on this cuz i just this summer wrote a song called "I Need You." it's completely different in lyrics, and if there is any music, i'm sure it is also way different. it was wierd to see the title of a song that i wrote up in the forums. it is really good. 2 thumbs up!
