I've searched, the other thread's closed.

These guy's are a really interesting band from Brooklyn. Kind of like math-rock meets renaissance music. Time signatures and syncopation all over the place! I can honestly say that they are the most creative band of the '00's.

I recommend Blackmail Blues, Checked Out, I Don't See It That Way (As does Tyondai Braxton from battles) and This Time (On the album, possibly on youtube)

Mathcore or rock uses uncommon timings or frequently changing timings, complex rhythms, and usually a lot of dissonance. I think those are most of the defining characteristics.
