So im running a Peavey 6505+ into a Marshall cab equipped with greenback speakers, and when i pause in breakdowns, i get insane hiss, and need a noise reduction pedal. I need one by tomorrow, so im hitting up the local shops today. Ive heard amazing things about the ISP Decimator and i think imma go with that, but what do you all think is the best noise reducer under $200?

The ISP Decimator G-String. Has tighter gating than the standard model plus the ability to run an effects loop in separately for dual-noise-suppression.

New for $215, used they are often sold for under $200.

I hear ya. Post WTB threads in UG, Harmony-Central and Seven String. Also check craigslist regularly.

You shouldn't have to wait long.

The basic Decimator worked great =) i bought it and hooked it up, and set it at -40, and no feedback noise! it even killed some of the infamous iPhone interference my rig gets.
