Sexy.

He was checking out the thread with me so I thought I'd throw up a webcam shot...

But back to the TS' question, let's stay on topic here. I don't know much about pup installation but that doesn't appear to be a strat compatible pup. Do you have any other guitars to try it in?

HNPD!

I tried to think of new puns to make about this but I think we've already heard every possible one.

^^ Damn, that's what I was thinking; acoustic pup...

Have you tried saying, in a confident tone, 'sit down?' Sometimes when I can't get a pup seated properly that works... But with a pup straight from the factory maybe not.

Actually, I think your new pup would work better in there. More room. Wiring might be a little tricky as these pups are very sensitive to soldering irons

also - check its resistance with a multimeter if you are not sure

I think its resistance to being 'checked' with a multi-meter will be very strong.

I love it. Is it high output? Is it nice clean or does it just get really muddy? :P

Very cute ^_^

Yeah, same thing happened with me only with new tubes. They didn't take well to the multimeter leads or the bias probe.

They were a little tricky getting them into the tube socket and the tone felt rather 'fuzzy' almost 'furry'.

I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.
