How would you describe the tone of this acoustic guitar
would it be bright, warm, or dark?

You're a good man. I was waiting for somebody to step up with the obligatory "I come blood" reference.

Thats a pretty balanced guitar. Has some bass, good mids and good highs. Probably a mahogany backed guitar.

Twangy and electric guitar-like. That's what happens when you bolt two honkin' electric pickups to a D18.

^ That.

Generally though, it's a bit hard to tell what the guitar really sounds like. Recordings are never even close to as accurate as when you play the guitar itself.

The reason we can tell in this case is because you can hear it amplified, which only accurately represents the sound of his guitar's amplification system, not what the guitar actually sounds like.
Equipment:
- Art & Lutherie Cedar CW (SOLD! )
- Martin D-16RGT w/ LR Baggs M1 Active Soundhole Pickup
- Seagull 25th Anniversary Flame Maple w/ LR Baggs Micro EQ
