Who do you look up to? It can be anyone, fictional or otherwise.

I look up to Rorschach and my sister (sometimes.)

Oh and yes, this thread has most likely been done before.

+1 with John Lennon.

John Lennon: His poetry and songwriting, as well as his views.

Daniel Tammet: A living genius

that's all I can think of for now.

EDIT: Lacuna Coil.
The amount of respect they have for their fans, and what they do for them. They are pretty far up in my books, and if I ever do become a musician I hope to be as faithful as them.

I know it's corny, but my father. He's almost the same as me in terms of his hobbies and his personalities, but somehow everything that comes out of his mouth seems smarter, and he somehow has time to play a round of golf (or lift weights and run on the treadmill in the winter), have lunch with my mother, take her shopping, clean the house, cook dinner, do the laundry, watch a movie, and maybe read some of a book every Sunday. It was even crazier when he used to go to church on Sundays too.

I know there are plenty of hours in the day, but I can never make that happen. The guy gets up at 6 to work out every day, and keeps busy until 11. And somehow he's never tired. Pretty impressive for a guy pushing 60.

He was conservative, I wouldn't call him a fascist.

And I agree wholeheartedly with his "Evil must be punished, justice must be rewarded. I will not compromise in this, not even in the face of armageddon."

Yeah definate +1 to John Lennon.

Also, Paul Gilbert, because he seems like one of the nicest, most down to earth dudes, but is also really talented guitarist/songwriter. Shows that you can be extremely talented, but not come across as a complete douche (Yngwie).

Steven Hyde

and I mean the fictional character. He's just cool.

No he was intended to be a fascist. Or at least "extremely right wing" which basically implies fascist.

yea people are like super human after they retire its weird. i guess they realize that their days are numbered so they try to cram as much shit into their days a possible. but uh just so this isn't spam... i'd say that i look up to tom Petty just because he keeps on plugging despite having lived in George Harrison for much of his career. I'd raise a beer to my grandfather as well because he was epic 'til the day he died on 4/20 2008
