I'm interested in picking up the bass. At this point i've only learned of P and J basses. I've decided on a p-bass.

I'll take a couple of dings and imperfections if it means the price goes down. I just want something to drag around to learn the basics, (and hell, maybe it'll be a nice refurbish/flip when I want to get more serious and buy my second one)

So i'm looking for 4 strings preferably, I could look at a 5. I just don't want to get ahead of myself. 2 or 3 pickups would be nice, but who am I to be picky.

My price range probably no higher than $300. (If I can talk my parents into making it a christmass gift I might be able to add some more to that)

Don't care about colors, wood choices, etc.

Thank you

If I cross the street to get away from them, then it's a latino.

Squier Vintage Modified J bass. It's the natural one with the maple neck and black pickguard. Best budget bass I've ever played.

as i told you in your other thread get a squire vintage modified precision or a fender mim precision depending on budget. a p-bass only has one pickup by the way.

i thought me and some others already showed you quite a few options.

Yea, many of you guys helped, i've narrowed my search down quite a bit.

This thread was originally in the classifieds. But I guess they moved it

most Squiers are still going to sound good after youve gotten past being a beginner
I started with a Squier Jazz- still play it sometimes
