winter comp, haven't written for ages. c4c

six white boomers

so you want
snowflakes
snow
flakes
fall
ing
down
that's winter, isn't it?
white wonderland, yeah,
and sleighbells
sleighbells and
trees and pretty pretty lights.

Well, not here, no,
not here at all.
Here we have sun, sun
and more sun.
Not as glamorous, huh?

Winter is still an end though,
a dying of trees, while autumn's ashes
are carried on the last ditch attempt at a wamr summer's breeze,
fading into a dull, dark winter of
mind, body and heart;
echoed in the way she says
goodbye.

I haven't written anything in about 6 weeks :O
This was not so great.
You say that winter is just some snowflakes. Okay, that's fine. But then you tack on 3 more things. I dunno. Just a pet peeve of mine.

also, "warm" typo.
Promises meant a lot back then.

I liked it. I assume it was kind of a punk-ish song? That's the feel it had.

I liked the rhythm that you gave
"snow
flakes
fall
ing
down"
Sounded good.

But the mood was kinda lost when you went over to the sun light part. But still, a good piece.
