So i think it's about time i get a second bass, i've looked and looked but i don't know what i want yet. So i just wanna see what all of you would have to suggest. I'm just looking to keep it 700-800 or less. I want it to be light weight.
I have a K5 Ibanez now. I think i wanna get a four string now just because. Theres no real reason. Give me and suggest you have.
I play in a metal band, but lately i've wanted an 80's metal tone. But i enjoy all music and will be playing all. I'm also in a jazz band too. So a really nice versatile tone would be great.
Thanks for all suggestions ahead of time!

I'm not really interested in an acoustic just yet, i don't have the need for it. I like Fender Jazz but i want something a little different looking, or different paint ya know? But not too weird.

700-800 puts you in used Warwick territory. Might want to look at G&L's, used Musicmans, and high end Ibanez SR's
