Although they are metalcore, they do have a lot more hardcore influence than most of the bands in this forum.

And I personally would have killed to see them with BMTH. When I first got into TGI I looked on their profile and they still had the tour dates up in a blog, which didn't realize were the year prior. I don't think I've ever been more disappointed, especially since it was in this really small venue (could fit maybe 250 max).

There have only been two bands mentioned in this thread

I can only assume you were referring to the band in MustangMan's sig, who we should now make this thread about.

Evisceration is awesome.
My band, Escher
My progressive rock project, Mosaic

I actually really like you guys. Reminds me of a more fluid BOO

Thanks dude, I appreciate that. I think we sound a lot like BOO and Veil of Maya in the way some of our riffs sound, but I'm glad there's still differentiation. Now if only Sumerian would come talk to us.

Yeah, but they deserve their own thread.
So I'll start one.

Got into these guys recently, and I have to say they're pretty good for the genre they play.

Such a good band. Between The Lines and Chrono both sound amazing. Definitely upped their game in my opinion. Seeing them for the second time on Tuesday. Can't wait.

WHAT DO YOU STAND FOR???

*punches nearest person in the face*

The Ghost Inside, making me walk like a retard with headphones in via breakdown since 09. The only better breakdown they've ever written was the outro to Faith Or Forgiveness, imo.

I'm loving the shit out of the intro to Chrono and that melody at 0:46. Too good!

If I drove, I'd imagine I'd have probably blew out my speakers to the first album by now.

And I'm seeing them tomorrow with Deez Nuts, who I'm not fussed about seeing, so I might have to go hunt down TGI and tell them they're awesome while DN are on

EDIT: Awesome sig btw, I love that band as well

Hahaha! My friend the other day said before he took off to drive to work "Gimme a new band, I want them to be so good I wreck!" I wish I would have shown him these guys now that you reminded me.

Just back from seeing them, they blew Deez Nuts out of the water and were absolutely insane (as predicted). I think it's obvious you're doing it right when you get persistant encore calls and you're a support act...
Pricks didn't play Chrono though, but the first song off their new album sounds heavy as shit.

Setlist for anyone who's interested:

Destined
The Brave
Shiner
Between The Lines
Provoke
First song off their new record (name escapes me)
Faith Or Forgiveness
My name is Danny. Call me that.

Hell yeah the brave! If they added the siren song and the lion war it would be the perfect set.

Yeah I was stoked they played The Brave, but I really wish they'd played Chrono haha. Oh well, next time they're in Scotland hopefully they'll be headlining and they can do a longer set. I was very impressed that the Aberdeen crowd were so into them, it was pretty full for them and they had loads of mic grabs and a pretty big pit. Good stuff.
