Carvin C66

I'm waiting on SSH+ and SSV pickups and a tremel-no.
I got the neck unfinished, which is fantastic for anyone without experience with it.

I play through a VHT/Fryette 50CL. The active/passive system on the Carvin is a real help for dialing in cleans on the VHT (and also the EQ is a big part of cleaning up that amp).

My gear is in my sig.

My current at home ''practice'' rig, I would use the boogies to gig but I don't have a rack right now, so the Mark IIC combo gets used. Ignore the horrible cab, I store the recto 2x12 along with the IIC combo at my bands rehearsal space.

whats thes guitar on the left?
that headstock is wild

Coulda checked my profile =p

It's a '66 Yamaha SG-2. It's meant to be kind of a Jazzmaster copy, kind of a Jaguar copy, kind of a Mustang copy. It's clearly got a Mustang-meets-Jazzmaster look, and has circuitry identical to that of the Jazzmasters, but has thin-sounding single coils that have that twangy, surfy Mustang/Jaguar sound. Also, it has a short scale, much like the Mustang and the Jaguar. The trem arm is similar to the Jazzmaster/Jaguar one, but the rolling bridge is far superior to Fender's, as far as I can tell (a friend of mine owns a USA Jazzmaster, and he has to intonate it on a regular basis). The pickups are old and way too noisy at this point though, so I'll be replacing them with some Jaguar/Strat pickups as soon as I can afford to do so.

Your guitar has the exact same headstock as one of my guitars, a Silvertone Mosrite Slider from the late 60's/early 70's, must be from the same factory, made in Japan?

Possibly, but the headstocks are actually quite different. Yours has a curved "batwing" shape (as I've seen on several cheaper superstrat models). Mine has a very strange look to it; at the bottom, it is much more square, and the curve leading to the point looks much less natural than yours does. Also, I believe mine is a good deal bigger than yours.
