What's going on with the weird circuitry in this guitar? Anyone know? Is it even that weird?
#2
it's a mid-cut if I'm correct.

and it has active pickups.

Nothing really that special.

part from that it's just one f-cking solid piece of geetarr which costs absolutely nothing and plays like a dream.

Yeah i'm thinking of picking one up, was gonna get a rg321 to mess around with but might wait for one of these. Have they just replaced the tone pot with a tone switch?
#4
Cool guitar, I was close to buying one rather than my 421 but decided I would rather have passives.
#5
Think they have replaced the tone pot with a switch that effectively cuts mids? Like a scoop switch?
#7
yep the did.

the RGA 42 has an active midscoop

the newer prestige has an EQ thingy.

either way just mess with it for a while and once you get bpred with it you can always replace it with a tone/2nd volume knob.
