It's a Squier Classic Vibe 50s Strat. It's awesome, especially the neck. This is my first maple fretboard and I really cant believe that it's a dealbreaker whether the fretboard is maple or rosewood as I really don't feel too much difference between the two . I love the grain too, it's sexy .

Just to warn you, the pictures are sh*t. This is for 3 reasons: I suck at taking photos, my camera is pretty bad, and artificial lighting blows but it's raining . It's really a beautiful guitar, the pictures don't do it justice.

That random shape of light near the upper horn on the last picture isn't on the guitar btw.

I love Strats like that. And that's why I have one

I just need a 70s style Strat in black with a black pickguard, pickup covers and controls. And a maple fingerboard.

Classic Vibe Series = Amazing.

That's a cool looking guitar there mate. How much did you snag it for in the end?

I'm thinking of getting a CV Strat or Duo Sonic myself.

It was £150 off eBay. I didn't try it first but I figured if I didn't like it, I could just sell it on for the same price.

I've never tried a duo sonic. They're basswood right?

Yeah, I think so. They have a tiny scale so they're really fun to play. Do stupid chords and rediculous bends, as you'd imagine. Worth a look into for a cool guitar, especially for stage use.

So you're happy with the Strat then? Nothing nicer than buying something blind online and it being perfect.

You'll find whisky very different, but try it and you'll grow into it, soon you and whisky are one, but still two, lovers dancing across a frozen lake under moonlight, wrapped in honey and warmth.
