Hi

There's a small poblem with my Vox V847A Wah.

When I push down on the wah towards the treble end, it makes a crackly sort of sound.

It doesn't need oiling or anything - the sound comes from my amplifier.

I know this sort of thing is expected when I increase treble, but it only makes the sound for a short second AS I am pushing down, not when it is held down.

What could be the problem? How can I solve it?

Thanks.

I would ask in the wah modding thread if you haven't already...those guys know their stuff. Just a guess, but it could be the pot going back...or possibly a loose ground wire or something. Have you opened up and looked inside yet? Is this a new problem or has it been happening for awhile?

EDIT: here's the link
