Okay guys, I have a confession to make. Not really a confession since it's something that's been bugging me for awhile but I've always been in denial about it.

**** you gilly, it's not what you think

This or most stuff by Skillet. Their stuff is easy but they just feel fun to play and you can mess around a bit when you play because they are so easy. If I had to pick a specific song from them it would probably be Savior or Hero.
So that with good courage we say, “The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me?”

You guys have all missed out on the best bass riff of all time! The Jackson Five's I Want you Back!
My other favourites:
Iron Maiden - Wraithchild
The Doors - Break on Through
Curtis Mayfield - Freddie's Dead
Led Zeppelin - Achilles Last Stand
The Beatles - Dear Prudence
MC5 - Kick out the Jams
Rage Against the Machine - Bombtrack
Soundgarden - The Day I Tried to Live
KISS - God of Thunder

Not the most impressive bass songs. But the ones I always enjoy playing the most. And I don't think anyone can hear I Want you Back without dancing. Even my rhythmically-challenged white ass.

EDIT: Props to Mr. Penguin. Psycho Killer is sort of my 'signature song' when I play guitar and sing at open mics. Not that it's my favourite to play, but that's the one people always request.

The solo bit from Tom Sawyer, even if it is a bit repetitive. Actually, never mind. Every line from that song. That and "The Body Electric".
My heart beats in 4/4, not the other way around.

Do your part. Join TVTropes.

The bass solo in Freewill by Rush is a fun one to play.

I always catch myself playing the main bits from Sex in a Pan. Not my favorite song or anything, it just seems to be my muscle memory fall back whenever I'm standing around with a bass in my hand.

edit* and no, not the part where he goes full out crazy slap and pop. Not the kind of thing I can really pull off.

Surprised nobodies mentioned The Who yet!
But then, my favourites to play are both by them-The Real Me and Won't Get Fooled Again

Classic lines, a bit challenging at times, if you're sight reading then definitely so, but both massive amounts of fun imo

Absolutely, i remember it a bit from Lucky Star .... which reminds me of Minoru Shiraishi. But i'd like to have that tab, it'll be one of the best examples of walking bass that i'd know if it counts.
