Yes I did searchbar, nothing quite fit.

Atm Im just looking for some decent songs to learn that would test my ability and give me something to work towards. I've been playing for about 2 years seriously. I just finished learning the fade to black end solo and I've done the back in black, comfortably numb, stairway and alive solo's. I'm into rock (ACDC, GNR, Nirvana etc.) , metal (Megadeth, Metallica, Pantera etc. ) and prog (Mainly DT). Any Ideas on what I can learn?
The gear:

* Epiphone Les Paul Custom
* Schecter Jeff Loomis Signature 7 String
* Fender Squier P Bass
* Blackstar Stage HT-60
* Original Crybaby
* EHX Small Clone
* Boss DD-3

If you're into DT, give some of the parts from Overture 1928 a go maybe. That songs great because it varies in difficulty alot.

How 'bout the solo from Seek & Destroy? It's 208 bpm instead of 142...

Because speed is OBVIOUSLY the most important thing

OK, if speed's the most important thing, then go for SRV's Rude Mood (240+ througout)...

Or All Nightmare Long's 1st solo with the 16th note sextuplet run @180+

or if speed is all you care about then just do row your boat at 500 bpm

:-)
